Jindong Cai
Jindong Cai is a Chinese-American composer and conductor who has made a name for himself in the classical music world. Born in Shanghai, Cai studied at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and the Juilliard School in New York City. He has since composed a wide range of works, including symphonies, concertos, and chamber music. Cai's music is often characterized by its use of Chinese folk melodies and rhythms, as well as its exploration of different musical cultures. He has received numerous awards for his work, including the prestigious Grawemeyer Award for Music Composition.
