Kings of Leon is an American rock band that formed in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1999. Comprised of brothers Caleb Followill (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Jared Followill (bass guitar, keyboards), Nathan Followill (drums, percussion, backing vocals), and their cousin Matthew Followill (lead guitar, backing vocals), the family quartet is known for their distinctive blend of Southern rock, blues, and garage rock influences. They achieved initial success in the United Kingdom with the release of their debut EP "Holy Roller Novocaine," which paved the way for their full-length album "Youth & Young Manhood" in 2003, earning them critical acclaim and a devout fanbase.

Over the years, Kings of Leon's sound evolved from raw, Southern garage rock to a more anthemic approach, with hit singles such as "Sex on Fire," "Use Somebody," and "Notion" catapulting them into global superstardom. Their seventh studio album, "WALLS" (2016), scored them their first number 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart. The band's eighth studio album "When You See Yourself," released in 2021, showcases their maturity in songwriting and continued evolution, with singles like "The Bandit / 100,000 People" and "Echoing."
