Chichirama is an indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York. The band was formed in 2010 by vocalist and guitarist Michael Cera, bassist and vocalist Matt Pence, and drummer Tony DiSanto. Chichirama's music has been described as "jangly, melodic, and catchy," with lyrics that are often introspective and humorous. The band has released four albums, including their most recent, "Epic Fail," which was released in 2022. Chichirama has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as The Strokes, The Killers, and Vampire Weekend.
