Mariam Sarkissian is a French opera singer and singing teacher of Armenian origin, born in Moscow. She began her musical journey with piano lessons at the age of five and later moved to Paris in 1996, where she continued her studies. Influenced by her first teacher, the renowned mezzo-soprano Zara Dolukhanova, Sarkissian developed her vocal skills. She has performed in various musical settings, including chamber music and opera, and has been involved in notable recordings such as Tigran Mansurian's songs and instrumental music alongside the Musica Viva Moscow Chamber Orchestra, and Jacques Offenbach's "Mélodies" with soprano Fanny Crouet.
