Axel Ehnström, known more widely by his stage name, Paradise Oskar, is a Finnish singer-songwriter who gained international recognition after representing Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "Da Da Dam". His stage name was inspired by the character "Oskar" in Astrid Lindgren’s children's book "Rasmus and the Vagabond," reflecting his penchant for crafting narratives through his music. Born on February 23, 1990, Ehnström is a graduate of the Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, where he honed his skills in pop and jazz music.
