Varhara

Varhara is a four-piece Atmospheric Black Metal and Blackgaze band from St. Petersburg, Russia, formed in 2019. Their music is characterized by a blend of dark, dreamy atmospheres and heavy elements, often evoking emotions of sorrow and intensity. The band's sound has evolved significantly, as seen in their album *Пустоцвет (Voidflower)*, which marks a departure from their earlier work, such as *Осы*. Varhara's lineup includes Vladimir Ogoltelov on drums, Ekaterina Belyantseva on guitars, Igor Bely on bass and vocals, and Alexander Kalinin on guitars and synthesizers. Their music often features a gradual build-up from clean, atmospheric beginnings to intense, heavy climaxes, creating a captivating sonic journey for listeners.
