Robert Mealy is a renowned American baroque violinist and one of the leading figures in early music performance today. With over three decades of experience, he's collaborated with a wide range of ensembles, including the Boston Early Music Festival Orchestra, where he serves as concertmaster, and the Trinity Wall Street Baroque Orchestra. Known for his expressive playing and deep understanding of historical performance practices, Mealy has earned a reputation as both a passionate performer and gifted educator.
In addition to performing, Mealy is active in academia — he heads the Historical Performance program at the Juilliard School and previously taught at Yale University and Harvard.
