Cidade Verde Sounds is a Brazilian reggae duo formed in 2005 in Maringá, Paraná, made up of Adonai on vocals and Dub Mastor handling beats and effects. Known for blending reggae with elements of dub, hip-hop, and electronic music, they bring vibrant rhythms alongside socially conscious and empowering lyrics. Their music often addresses political issues, social justice, and the struggle against corruption, all delivered with a positive, uplifting vibe rooted in Rastafarian values like one love and deep trust in Jah.

Over nearly two decades, Cidade Verde Sounds has built a solid reputation in Brazil's reggae scene and beyond, touring widely across the country and parts of South America. Their 2015 album *O Jogo* stands out as a breakthrough record, inspiring the cannabis liberation movement in Brazil and reflecting the complex socio-political reality of the region. The duo has collaborated with notable reggae artists, and in 2014 they immersed themselves in Jamaican culture, recording at the iconic Tuff Gong studios and producing a documentary called *Cidade Verde Sounds - In Jamaica*. With multiple albums and a dedicated fanbase, CVS continues to blend infectious grooves with meaningful messages.
