Miguel and the Living Dead

**Miguel and the Living Dead** is a Polish band formed in 2001 in Warsaw, known for blending gothic rock, punk, deathrock, and psychobilly into a unique and theatrical style. Founded by Pete Vincent (aka Nerve 69) as a one-man project, the band initially produced tracks like "Salem's Lot" and "Night of Terror" recorded at home. By 2003-2004, former members of the post-punk band Eva joined, expanding the lineup and moving towards live performances characterized by horror-inspired costumes and makeup, enhancing their distinctive stage presence. They mix influences from European gothic rock, American deathrock, 50s and 60s rock'n'roll, and various other genres to create a dark yet energetic sound and visual aesthetic.

After disbanding in 2009, Miguel and the Living Dead reformed in 2018 and have been active since, including working on new recordings and performing reunion shows. Their notable releases include the albums *Alarm!!!* (2005) and *Postcards from the Other Side* (2007), and the more recent single *Hyenaz* (2025). The band remains an intriguing figure on the gothic and punk scene, known for their consistent artistic vision tied to horror and retro visuals.
