Simon Beckett
Simon Beckett is a British author best known for his crime thriller series featuring forensic anthropologist Dr. David Hunter. Born in 1960 in Sheffield, England, Beckett worked various jobs including as a property repairer and English teacher in Spain before becoming a freelance journalist and novelist. His David Hunter series, inspired by a visit to the Body Farm in Tennessee, has been internationally successful, with his books translated into 29 languages and selling over 8 million copies worldwide. Beckett's writing is known for its detailed forensic elements and gripping narratives.
