Matt Valentine is an American musician and artist whose work has been integral to the underground psych-folk and free-form improvisational scenes. Often known as MV, he was a founding member of the avant-folk band Tower Recordings and has since pursued a prolific solo career as well as collaborative projects with partner Erika Elder under the name MV & EE.
