The Beatshakers

**The Beatshakers** are a Serbian DJ duo consisting of Ivan Gojković and Nenad Kosovac, originally formed in 2006 under the name Sex Shooters before rebranding in 2009. They gained recognition through their radio show *Beat Shaker* on Belgrade’s Top FM, which became known for introducing fresh electronic sounds to Serbian audiences. Their breakthrough came with the 2009 single *Ma Cherie*, featuring vocalist Raul Alberto, which topped Serbian charts and later became a European hit through a collaboration with DJ Antoine. Known for high-energy performances, they’ve shared stages with acts like DJ Antoine, Freemasons, and Benny Benassi, while releasing tracks like *Prisoner* (with Sonja Bakić) and maintaining a presence in both local and international club scenes.

Their sound merges electro-house energy with radio-friendly hooks, as heard in remixes and originals like *Take It Easy* and *To the Dancefloor*. While their earlier work spotlighted collaborations with Serbian vocalists, their later releases, including remixes of *Ma Cherie* with DJ Antoine, expanded their reach into European charts.
