Unnayanaa, whose real name is Prashanth Pallemoni, is a DJ, producer, and experimentalist known for blending Afro-beat, House, Brazilian, and Jazz influences with electronic music. He is recognized as a leading figure in African and African-influenced electronic music in India. Growing up in a musically rich environment, Unnayanaa draws inspiration from his family's diverse musical background. His unique approach to morphing ethnic sounds with electronic elements has garnered attention, particularly through his performances at notable festivals like Magnetic Fields and Echoes of Earth, as well as his appearance on Boiler Room in 2022. Unnayanaa is currently working on music inspired by his travels to Ethiopia and Congo.
