This Heat was an influential experimental British band formed in the late 1970s, recognized for their innovative blend of avant-garde rock, progressive jazz, and electronic music, often seen as forerunners of industrial, post-rock, and noise rock genres. The ensemble was founded in Camberwell, London, by multi-instrumentalists Charles Bullen and Charles Hayward, and bassist Gareth Williams.
