Helena Zetova

Helena Zeťová was a Czech singer known for her dynamic career in both group and solo settings. Born on November 7, 1980, in Valašské Meziříčí, Czechoslovakia, she began singing at the age of 15 with a rock band and later joined an American band on the Spanish island of Lanzarote. Her rise to fame came with the girl group Black Milk, which she co-founded with Tereza Kerndlová and Tereza Černochová in 2001. The group released their debut album *Modrej dým* in 2002, earning them the Český slavík award for "Discovery of the Year." After Black Milk disbanded in 2005, Zeťová launched a successful solo career with albums like *Ready to Roll* (2005) and *Crossing Bridges* (2008). Her solo work included hits like "Impossible (Unstoppable)" and "Love Me Again." In 2020, she released *Consequences*, marking a return to music after a period of seeking inspiration abroad.

Helena Zeťová's music spanned genres, showcasing her versatility as a pop-rock artist. Her career was marked by numerous awards and performances across the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Unfortunately, her life was cut short when she passed away on December 20, 2024, at the age of 44. Despite her untimely death, her legacy continues to resonate with fans of Czech music.
