Diego Masson

Diego Masson is a German composer and conductor known for his innovative and experimental approach to music. Born in 1935, Masson studied composition with Karlheinz Stockhausen and conducting with Sergiu Celibidache. He has been a pioneer in the field of electronic music, and his works often explore the relationship between sound and space. Masson has also been a prolific conductor, leading performances of works by Stockhausen, Pierre Boulez, and other contemporary composers. His recordings of Stockhausen's "Aus den sieben Tagen" and "Holler" are considered landmark recordings in the field of electronic music.
