The Fingerbangerz

The Fingerbangerz are a crew of six San Jose-based turntablists who formed in 1998. Initially gaining recognition, they were known for their energetic performances and innovative routines, showcasing their skills in the club battle circuit and underground art galleries. One of their most notable moments was debuting a 12-turntable routine at a Zebra Records battle, which impressed notables like the X-Men (now the X-ecutioners) and Q-Bert. They are highly regarded for their creative approach to DJing and their contributions to the battle scene. The crew's members have been influential in their community, known for their passion for hip-hop and their collaborative spirit.

Over the years, The Fingerbangerz have released several notable works, including "VI.R.US". Their involvement in the music scene extends to collaborations with other artists and crews, such as a performance with the dance crew Jabbawockeez. The group's early success was marked by a passionate dedication to perfecting their craft and taking bold creative risks.
