Bach Consort Wien
Bach Consort Wien is a Baroque ensemble that specializes in the music of Johann Sebastian Bach and his contemporaries. Founded in 1999 by artistic director Rubén Dubrovsky, the group has performed throughout Europe and the Americas, and has released numerous recordings. Bach Consort Wien is known for its historically informed performances, which use period instruments and techniques to recreate the sound of Bach's time. The ensemble's repertoire includes Bach's Brandenburg Concertos, Orchestral Suites, and Mass in B Minor, as well as works by Handel, Vivaldi, and other Baroque composers.
