The Axe is a Nepali rock band formed in 1990. The band is known for its energetic live performances and its fusion of traditional Nepali folk music with Western rock and roll. The Axe has released seven albums, including "Chiya Bari Ma (Kripa Unplugged)", "Hawaiian Dreams", and "A Decade". The band has toured extensively throughout Nepal and India, and has also performed at international festivals such as the Glastonbury Festival and the WOMAD Festival.
