The Claypool Lennon Delirium is a psychedelic rock supergroup formed by bassist/singer Les Claypool (best known for Primus) and guitarist/singer Sean Lennon. Built around their shared love of trippy, freewheeling ’60s-and-’70s-influenced rock, the project leans into warped grooves, heavy fuzz, and playful, left-turn songwriting that feels equal parts virtuosic and off-the-rails fun.
They debuted with *Monolith of Phobos* (2016) and followed it up with *South of Reality* (2019), plus the *Lime & Limpid Green* EP (2017). The band’s live-ready approach and jam-friendly chemistry are a big part of the appeal—think big basslines, swirling guitars, and surreal humor, all delivered with the kind of musical chops you’d expect from the Claypool/Lennon pairing.
