Wood Box Heroes is a folk-rock band from Austin, Texas, formed in 2005. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Matt Hines, bassist and vocalist John Wood, and drummer and vocalist Matt Smith. Their music is characterized by its heartfelt lyrics, catchy melodies, and energetic live performances. Wood Box Heroes have released four albums, including their self-titled debut in 2007 and "This Train" in 2012. They have toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, sharing the stage with artists such as Wilco, Ryan Adams, and Old Crow Medicine Show.
