HC Baxxter is a German singer, songwriter, and producer best known as the frontman of the techno group Scooter. Born Hans-Peter Geerdes in Leer, Germany, in 1966, Baxxter began his music career in the early 1990s as a DJ and producer. In 1994, he co-founded Scooter with Rick J. Jordan and Ferris Bueller, and the group quickly rose to fame with their energetic live performances and catchy techno anthems. Over the years, Scooter has released numerous hit singles and albums, including "Hyper Hyper," "Maria (I Like It Loud)," and "How Much Is the Fish?," and has become one of the most successful techno acts of all time.
