Degg J Force 3 is a pioneering group in Guinean urban music, formed in 1997 in Conakry. The group, originally comprising members like Moussa and Ablaye M'Baye, has become synonymous with the hip-hop scene in Guinea. Their name, "Degg J Force 3," translates to "concrete truths combined with three forces: justice, goodness, and truth." Degg J Force 3 achieved instant success with their debut album "Mach’Allah," selling over 78,000 copies, setting a record that cemented their status as musical legends. Their music combines traditional African instruments with modern styles, creating a unique blend of Afrobeat and hip-hop, and often addresses social issues, inspiring change and awareness.
