Rainbow Rosalind, also known as Rainbow Rosalind the Fairy, is an award-winning children's singer-songwriter and entertainer based in Dunedin, New Zealand. She comes from a classical music background, having played the viola and flute with various orchestras including the NZSO National Youth Orchestra and the Dunedin Symphony Orchestra. Rainbow Rosalind found her passion in writing songs for children while studying musical theatre abroad. Upon her return to New Zealand, she became part of Kiwi Kids Music and co-hosts the award-winning children's radio show 'SpaceStationKiwi'. Her music often combines elements of education, fun, and magic, as seen in songs like those from her debut album 'Kia Ora' and in her performances at events like the Queenstown Winter Festival.
Some of her notable achievements include winning the APRA Best Children's Music Video Award in 2016 for 'Aotearoa, Home of our Hearts'. Rainbow Rosalind continues to perform, teach, and engage with her young audience through music, dance, and storytelling, spreading joy and magic wherever she goes.
