Indrani Mukherjee is a renowned Hindustani classical vocalist and Thumri exponent from India. Born on January 25, 1974, in Asansol, West Bengal, she comes from a musical family and began her musical journey at a young age. Her repertoire includes Khayal in the Kirana-Rampur style and Thumri in Purab Ang. Indrani was a scholar at the ITC Sangeet Research Academy in Calcutta under the guidance of Pandit Arun Bhaduri and later learned from Vidushi Manju Sundaram Ji. She is an empanelled artist of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations and a high-grade artist on All India Radio for Khyal and Thumri.
