Eyot

Eyot is a dynamic Serbian jazz quartet hailing from Niš, known for their hypnotic blend of post-rock intensity and jazz improvisation. Formed in 2005, the band features Dejan Ilijić (piano), Marko Stojiljković (bass), Sladjan Milenović (guitar), and Milos Vojvodić (drums). Their music often balances cinematic soundscapes with intricate rhythms, drawing comparisons to acts like EST and Radiohead while maintaining a distinctly Balkan emotional core. Recent releases like *Quindecennial* and *How Shall the Dust Storm Start?* showcase their evolving exploration of atmospheric textures and groove-driven compositions. Eyot has built a strong international following through relentless touring, performing everywhere from European jazz festivals to Chinese clubs. Their live recordings, including *Tri boje zvuka (Live at RTS Studio 8, 2017)*, capture the raw energy that's made them a standout act in contemporary instrumental music.
