Jackson Blai is a Surinamese singer known for his work in the reggae and dancehall genres. Hailing from Paramaribo-Zuidwest, he was inspired by Reggy Jahbless and began singing at the age of 16. Blai performs in both Suriname and Europe. In 2017, he won two Su Music Awards, recognizing him as the Best reggae/dancehall artist and for releasing the Best album of the year. He also collaborated with Nisha Madaran on "Baby tere liye" in 2018, which garnered significant attention on YouTube and earned them the award for Best collaboration at the Su Music Awards. Some of his recent releases include "Badman," "Pikachu," "Cool," and "Mi De Bung."
