Piranha Rama is a four-piece indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York. Formed in 2014, the band consists of vocalist and guitarist Chris Cohen, bassist and vocalist Matt Albers, drummer and vocalist Jon Samuels, and keyboardist and vocalist Max Alper. Their music is characterized by its dreamy, psychedelic soundscapes, catchy melodies, and introspective lyrics. Piranha Rama has released two full-length albums, "Piranha Rama" (2016) and "Golden Blues" (2019), as well as several EPs and singles. They have toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, sharing the stage with bands such as DIIV, Beach Fossils, and Mac DeMarco.
