Maybeshewill

Maybeshewill is an instrumental band hailing from Leicester, England, known for their emotive blend of post-rock, electronic, and cinematic soundscapes. Formed in 2005, the band quickly made a name for themselves in the post-rock genre with their intricately layered guitars, pulsating synths, and dynamic drumming. Their music deftly combines a DIY ethic with a polished production, often complemented by the poignant use of film and voice-over samples, which add a narrative depth to their instrumental compositions.

Their debut album "Not For Want Of Trying" was released in 2008 and since then Maybeshewill has released several acclaimed albums, including "I Was Here For A Moment, Then I Was Gone" in 2011 and "Fair Youth" in 2014. The band is noted for key tracks such as "Red Paper Lanterns" and "Critical Distance," which have resonated with a global audience. Though they announced a farewell tour in 2016, much to the delight of their fanbase, they reunited and continued creating music. Their most recent work, "No Feeling is Final," released in 2021, persists with their thematic intensity and richly textured sound, exemplifying their growth and persistence in a genre that thrives on evocative instrumentals.
