JS16, whose real name is Jaakko Salovaara, is a Finnish musician, DJ, and record producer. He gained prominence in the late 1990s and early 2000s with his work in electronic dance music. JS16 is best known for producing the hit single "Freestyler" for the Finnish group Bomfunk MC's, as well as his collaborations with DJ Darude on tracks like "Sandstorm" and "Feel the Beat".
His solo career includes releases like the album "Stomping System" in 1998, which featured tracks such as "Stomp to My Beat" and "Love Supreme". JS16 has continued to release music over the years, with more recent singles including "Lights Go Wild" and "Girls On Film". He's also part of the DJ duo Dallas Superstars and owns the dance music record label 16 Inch Records.
