THE ROOP

THE ROOP is a Lithuanian synth-pop band formed in 2014. The band consists of Vaidotas Valiukevičius (vocals), Robertas Baranauskas (guitar), Mantas Banišauskas (bass), and Arminas Lyva (drums). They gained international recognition after representing Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with their song "On Fire," which finished in eighth place. THE ROOP's music is characterized by its catchy melodies, energetic rhythms, and uplifting lyrics. They have released two studio albums, "To Whom It May Concern" (2015) and "Ghosts" (2021), and have toured extensively throughout Europe.
