THE BACK HORN is a Japanese rock band formed in 1998 in Tokyo. The band consists of Yamada Masashi on vocals, Suganami Eijun on guitar, Okamine Koshu on bass, and Matsuda Shinji on drums. They debuted with the mini-album *Doko e Yuku* and later signed with Speedstar Records, releasing their first major single, "Sunny," in 2001. Over the years, they have released numerous albums, including *Ningen Program*, *Shinzou Orchestra*, and *Headphone Children*. Their music has been featured in various films and anime series, such as *Mobile Suit Gundam 00*, where their song "Wana" was used as an ending theme.
THE BACK HORN is known for their energetic live performances and have toured extensively, including shows in Europe. They have also experimented with acoustic street tours, showcasing their versatility as musicians. Despite being signed to a major label, they are often regarded as an indie band due to their unique sound and style.
