A longtime resident performer at Colonial Williamsburg, Shostak developed a passion for the glass armonica—an instrument invented by Benjamin Franklin—and has since become one of its foremost modern ambassadors. His albums, including Crystal Carols and World Glass, blend traditional and original compositions performed on glass instruments, offering listeners a uniquely ethereal sound experience.
