We Are Scientists is an American indie rock band that was formed in Berkeley, California in 2000. The band's core members include lead vocalist and guitarist Keith Murray, and bass guitarist Chris Cain, who have remained fixtures in the band despite changes in their lineup over the years—most notably the departure of original drummer Michael Tapper in 2007.
