Wolf-Face is a Florida-based horror-punk band best known for their tongue-in-cheek werewolf mythology and skate-punk energy. Since emerging in 2011, they've built a cult following with their fictional origin story: frontman "Michael J. Wolf" (a lycanthropic alter ego) leads this pack of masked musicians who perform in full werewolf makeup, blending pop-punk hooks with B-movie humor. Their discography – including titles like *Love Songs for the Lycanthropic* and *Still a Son of a Bitch* – revels in campy horror themes, self-aware absurdity, and nods to '80s slasher flicks. While their EDM experiment *Deadwul5* and chiptune-flavored *8 Bit Son-of-a-Bitch* show genre-playfulness, they always circle back to their signature blend of Ramones-style simplicity and monster-movie mischief. Live shows lean into the gimmick with howling audience interaction and a refusal to take themselves seriously – because as their name implies, wolves don’t box, they rock.
