Visigoth

Visigoth is a Salt Lake City-based heavy metal band that’s been waving the banner of epic, riff-driven metal since forming in 2010. Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Jake Rogers, the group—rounded out by guitarists Leeland Campana and Jamison Palmer, bassist Matt Brotherton, and drummer Mikey T.—draws inspiration from classic ’80s metal, fantasy literature, and tabletop RPGs (yes, “Dungeon Master” is exactly the anthem you’d hope for). They burst onto the scene with their 2015 debut *The Revenant King*, a fan-favorite packed with muscular hooks and mythic storytelling, followed by 2018’s *Conqueror’s Oath*, which doubled down on their love for sword-swinging sagas and anthemic choruses.

Known for their high-energy live shows and unabashed celebration of metal’s glory days, Visigoth balances nostalgia with fresh urgency, whether they’re paying homage to Manilla Road on “Necropolis” or crafting originals like “Warrior Queen” and “Steel and Silver.” While they’ve kept fans waiting for a third full-length, their 2021 single *Bells of Awakening* and 2023’s *Outlive Them All* prove they’re still sharpening their blades for future conquests.
