Ensemble Recoveco

Ensemble Recoveco is a vibrant musical group bringing together musicians from Colombia and Venezuela. They specialize in a broad repertoire of traditional Latin American music, merging pieces like valses, joropos, bambucos, and pasillos from their native countries with Brazilian choros and Argentine tangos. The ensemble's members include Alexis Cárdenas on violin, Nelson Gómez on guitarrón, Francisco González on guitar, Rafael Mejías on percussion, and Ricardo Sandoval on mandolin, bandola, and cuatro. Their music combines academic virtuosity with the spontaneity of popular music, blending classical influences with folk and jazz elements.

Ensemble Recoveco has released several albums, including "Bicho… Y Hecho" and "Recoveco Live (En Vivo)", showcasing their eclectic and energetic approach to Latin American music.
