United Freedom Collective

United Freedom Collective is a dynamic musical group led by Robbie Redway, Mathieu Seynaeve, and WaiFung Tsang. Based in Margate, they operate from a beachside studio, fostering a collaborative environment that celebrates eclecticism and analogue warmth. Since 2020, they have worked with a variety of artists, including Falle Nioke, FACESOUL, and Jordan Stephens, releasing music via Maribou State's Dama Dama imprint. Their sound is characterized by a blend of genres such as devotional music, psychedelic music, dance, dub, jazz, folk, and ambient music, which they humorously describe as "Hymn & Bass." Their music often reflects themes of healing and spiritual exploration, influenced by practices like meditation, yoga, and psychedelic therapy research.

The collective's approach to music is holistic, incorporating studio rituals and a fluid workflow that emphasizes minimal interference and re-takes. This approach allows their sound to evolve organically, often drawing inspiration from diverse cultural and spiritual traditions.
