Gary Allan

Gary Allan Herzberg, known professionally as Gary Allan, is an American country music artist born on December 5, 1967, in La Mirada, California. Allan's music is characterized by his gritty, raspy vocals and a neotraditionalist style that respects country’s roots while bringing a contemporary edge. His career began in earnest when he was offered a recording deal with Decca Records after a sultry performance in a honky-tonk caught the attention of a label executive.

Since his debut album, "Used Heart for Sale," in 1996, Allan has released several albums and numerous singles that have graced the Billboard country charts, earning him a loyal following for his unapologetically authentic brand of country. With over two decades in the industry, Allan has established himself as a mainstay through his storytelling and ability to convey emotions through music. The release of his "Please Come Home For Christmas EP" and his album "Ruthless" in 2021, along with singles like "Trouble Knows Trouble" and "Waste Of A Whiskey Drink," continue to showcase his persistent relevance and creativity in the genre. Known for his introspective and often raw lyrical content, Allan’s music remains a touchstone for those who appreciate country music with depth and heart.
