Celeste Epiphany Waite, known mononymously as Celeste, is a British singer-songwriter. Born in Los Angeles and raised in Brighton, England, she began her music career in 2014. Her debut EP, "The Milk & the Honey," was released in 2017 and was followed by her debut album, "Not Your Muse," in 2021. Celeste's music is characterized by its soulful vocals, honest lyrics, and blend of R&B, soul, and jazz influences. She has received critical acclaim for her work, winning the BBC Music Award for Rising Star in 2020 and the Brit Award for Best Female Solo Artist in 2022.
