Gracis was involved with several notable festivals, including the Venice Festival of Contemporary Music and the Naples Festival, where he conducted revivals of classical operas by composers like Mozart and Rossini. He spent a significant portion of his career leading orchestras at various Italian opera houses, including La Fenice, where he was the conductor for twelve years. Gracis passed away on April 12, 1992, in Treviso.
