Blood Red Throne

Blood Red Throne is a Norwegian death metal band that has been delivering skull-crushing anthems since its formation in 1998. Founded by guitarist Daniel "Død" Olaisen, formerly of Satyricon, when he teamed up with bassist Tchort, known for his work with Emperor and Green Carnation, Blood Red Throne was born out of a shared passion for aggressive and technical metal music. Throughout their career, they’ve become known for their relentless brutality and intricate musicianship, securing a prominent place within the death metal pantheon.

Over the years, Blood Red Throne has maintained a prolific output and seen several lineup changes, yet their commitment to the death metal genre has remained unwavering. With albums like "Union Of Flesh And Machine" (2016) and "Imperial Congregation" (2021), they've showcased their ability to evolve while staying true to their roots. Their recent releases such as "Fit To Kill" (2019) and singles like "Tempest Sculptor" (2022) and "Latrodectus" (2023) continue to hammer home the dark, guttural, and unapologetically heavy sound that has built their reputation, thrilling fans and terrorizing sound systems worldwide. The consistency of their output and the ferocity of their performances have cemented Blood Red Throne as a stalwart force in the extreme metal scene.
