Kasai Allstars
Kasai Allstars is a Congolese band that blends traditional Congolese rhythms with modern electronic music. The band was formed in 2003 by guitarist Mopero Mutambayi and vocalist Muambuyi Kalombo, and has since released several albums and toured extensively throughout Africa and Europe. Kasai Allstars' music is characterized by its infectious rhythms, hypnotic melodies, and socially conscious lyrics. The band's name is a reference to the Kasai region of the Democratic Republic of Congo, where the band members are from.
