Brides Of Destruction

Brides of Destruction is an American hard rock supergroup that emerged in the early 2000s, founded by bassist Nikki Sixx of Mötley Crüe fame and guitarist Tracii Guns, a founding member of L.A. Guns. The band was conceived as a raw and energetic return to the gutsy sound of early rock and roll, with an aim to recapture the rebellious spirit that defined the genre's golden age. Their lineup was rounded out by vocalist London LeGrand and drummer Scot Coogan for their initial releases.

After solidifying their lineup, Brides of Destruction made a thunderous entry into the rock scene with their debut album, "Here Come the Brides" in 2004. The record was a testament to the band's gritty and uncompromising sound, and it was well-received by fans of traditional hard rock and glam metal. Following the success of their first album, they released their sophomore effort "Runaway Brides" in 2005. While progress on a third album was hinted at, with the working title "Cracks," the group found it challenging to sustain momentum amid lineup changes and the members' commitments to other projects, leading to an effective hiatus. Despite a relatively brief active period, Brides of Destruction left a mark on the hard rock scene with their no-frills musicianship and bold, defiant attitude.
