99LETTERS is the stage name of Takahiro Kinoshita, a Japanese electronic music producer and DJ who has been active since 2008. Originally based in Osaka and later Shiga prefecture, he is known for blending traditional Japanese instruments with modern electronic sounds, creating a unique style often described as "gagaku techno." His music experiments with cultural fusion, incorporating instruments like the flute and traditional rhythmic patterns into his productions. His first vinyl release appeared in 2015 on Série limitée Records, marking a significant step in his career.

Over the years, 99LETTERS has released a variety of tracks and albums that showcase his innovative approach, including notable recent works such as "Zigoku ," "Nakimushinatori ," and "Fue ." His sound is distinctive for merging the ancient with the contemporary, offering listeners an evocative and immersive auditory experience that bridges Japan’s musical heritage with electronic music’s future.
