Kristin Wolfe Jensen

**Kristin Wolfe Jensen** is an accomplished bassoonist and educator known for her dynamic performances and dedication to expanding the bassoon's repertoire. A faculty member at the University of Texas at Austin’s Butler School of Music, she’s celebrated for her work with ensembles like the Grammy-nominated ROCO (River Oaks Chamber Orchestra), where she contributes to projects such as *ROCO Unchambered: Nik-Nak* and *ROCO Celebrates France*. Jensen’s recent releases, including *De Grandval: Grand Trio* and *Virko Baley's Parables & Reflections*, showcase her versatility in both classical and contemporary works. Passionate about new music, she regularly commissions pieces, as heard in *Modal Cycle (Live)*, and collaborates with composers to push the boundaries of her instrument. When she’s not performing or teaching, you’ll find her championing wind music through workshops and residencies, proving the bassoon is anything but boring!
