El Verbo Odiado

El Verbo Odiado is an indie rock band from Huesca, Spain, formed in 2012. It started as a solo project by Jorge Pérez, who after ending his previous band Plasma, created intimate, folk-inspired music with a minimalist setup. Over time, the project evolved into a full band, adding members such as Anay Tramulla on vocals and keyboards, drummer Juan Ramón Plaza, bassist José Ibáñez, and guitarists Jorge Moreno and Adrián Mored. Their sound captures a blend of emotional intensity and melodic rock with influences of folk and pop.

They have released several albums, including *Tú ganas* (2018), *Nada que celebrar* (2020), and *El último homenaje* (2022), working with notable producers like Raúl Pérez and Carlos Hernández Nombela. In 2025, El Verbo Odiado began a new chapter marked by the release of the album *E.G.O.*, produced by Santi García, known for adding depth and power to their sound. The band is well-regarded in the Spanish indie scene for their honest lyrics, distinctive voice, and dynamic performances.
