Ras Ajai, born Brian Todd Boucher and raised in Waterford, St. Catherine, Jamaica, is a reggae and dancehall artist known for blending conscious lyrics with a modern, vibrant sound he describes as "arms-house," mixing R&B, pop, dancehall, and reggae. He spent about a decade honing his craft under the mentorship of legendary musician Dean Fraser and the Black Soil Band before signing with Sean Paul's Dutty Rock Productions, a label that has helped elevate his career significantly. Since starting his music journey in 2007, Ras Ajai has released several notable tracks like *Di Ras Hot*, *Vice Grip*, and *Buss A Bubble* (featuring Sean Paul), and has toured extensively, including a 20-date U.S. tour with Sean Paul.
In addition to his music career, Ras Ajai made his major acting debut portraying Claudius Massop in the biopic *Bob Marley: One Love*, which was a life-changing experience for him.
