Mensenkinderen

Mensenkinderen is a Dutch indie-pop band founded by singer-songwriter Bas van Nienes. The band's music often explores themes with a subtle Christian undertone, though it rarely becomes explicit. This album was well-received, leading to Mensenkinderen being named "Hollands Nieuwe" by 3VOOR12. In 2017, the band started a series titled "Liedboek der Mensenkinderen," where they reinterpreted hymns from the Liedboek der Kerken with new melodies.
