Polyenso is an eclectic indie rock band hailing from St. Petersburg, Florida. The group’s music is a seamless fusion of alt-rock, electronica, and experimental pop, marked by atmospheric textures and intricate, layered soundscapes. Their origins date back to earlier projects under different names, but as Polyenso, they have carved out a distinct niche with their innovative sonic approach.
After disbanding their previous post-hardcore outfit, Oceana, in 2012, the core members Alex Schultz, Brennan Taulbee, and Denny Agosto sought to redefine their sound. They re-emerged as Polyenso, unveiling a dramatically different musical direction. Their debut album "One Big Particular Loop" in 2013 signaled a fresh start, leading to the well-received "Pure in the Plastic" in 2016. The band has not shied away from evolving and experimenting further, as evidenced by the expansive array of sounds in their singles, such as "Moona Festival" and "Year of the Dog." Constant evolution and dedication to craftsmanship have earned Polyenso a dedicated following, appreciative of their commitment to pushing boundaries and creating music that defies easy categorization.
